If he's charging $4000 for three days that mostly cover the book, he's doing it for the money. His service is $999 a month, no refunds. No refunds? He's doing it for the money. And why shouldn't he get paid? The cover of his book targets the sheep that have yet to be sheered, sounds like the...

What platform would you use to see classic chart patterns for NQ futures?

Okay, I have some of their charts up. Do you remember how you got to real-time pattern recognition? I see studies but nothing so far that looks like triangles and flags.

What platform would you use to see classic chart patterns for NQ futures?

Yes, real-time pattern recognition coupled with access to Nasdaq futures. I'll trial Ensign tonight.

What platform would you use to see classic chart patterns for NQ futures?

The Nasdaq futures is available from a bunch of sources. The hard part to come by is a toggle to identify chart patterns like triangles and wedges.

Is there software that looks a stock's price in comparison with similar trading days for the stock?

Most trading software does that since the data is aligned longitudinally by security. The data set of interest to me aligns the data cross-sectionally; each trading day is a separate callable entity, not strung together as a sequence of trading days. That way I could compare NQ for all days...

Is there software that looks a stock's price in comparison with similar trading days for the stock?

I use Tradingview. Are they able to identify similar historical trading days and assemble them for comparison? I don't think they do but I'd love to be wrong about that.

Is there software that looks a stock's price in comparison with similar trading days for the stock?

I'd like to know how Nasdaq futures traded during similar trading days historically or when facing economics releases like Payrolls and FOMC.

Streaming TradeStation's real time @NQ in Excel for 1 min cl price

Here's what I hope will be a clearer statement: Is there a way to stream Nasdaq E-mini futures prices in Excel? I need the current day's 1 min close prices beginning at 18:01 and added to an adjacent horizontal cell every minute through the 24 hour trading day. The time series that gets built...

Streaming TradeStation's real time @NQ in Excel for 1 min cl price

Can Tradestation stream the Nasdaq continuous futures data @NQ to Excel? I need to see the current day's one minute close prices beginning at 18:01 (6 pm) and covering 24 hours (1440 minutes) through 17:59 (5:59 pm). The data I use for comparison in Excel is 30 rows (days) by 1440 columns...

Does Ninja Trader offer analytics I can't find on Thinkorswim?

I see that Ninja Trader allows data capture (big plus) but it's not clear to me that I can do percent change charts on Ninja (huge minus). Basic charting options are not readily identifiable for the non-Ninja. And does Ninja have its own native data source? Sourcing data from my home base at TD...

Using log scale to compare two stocks

I'm accustomed to doing that but charting price that way is misleading. Using a log scale means that the same slope equates to the same growth rate for each stock. Endpoint to endpoint, percent change is okay but it distorts the growth path the stock actually took. It flattens the early years...

Using log scale to compare two stocks

But is it important that the two lines start from the same point of origin? Does it change the result if they start from different levels?
