Here's mine - I use a 4 monitor setup, but only the middle 2 are used for trading and seen in this screenshot. Top monitor is for charts, bottom for order entry.

I use the IKEA GALANT (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79807617) and have had no problems - but I just use a freestanding mount. I could see that using a stand that mounts to the edge would be a problem and break the wood.

I agree that as an individual, there is an undefined "art" to the entire process and it helps to smooth the rigidness of technical analysis.

Not personally - I didn't care for the spreads, commissions, or platform. Depending on your style, stick with Oanda or IB.

I ended up returning the Dell P2210 monitors and keeping 2 of the Samsung 2343BWX. Although they are both TN panels, the colors on the Samsung seemed slightly better and less washed out (maybe something to do with better contrast???). Thanks for the help and suggestions.

I was looking at that and the 2343BWX (really like this one for $199 @ MicroCenter), but neither have the rotating factory base to take it from landscape to portrait mode.
