one thing i have noticed is, that both of them show decent intradaytrends and -swings. but within these trends and swings the market action appears to be very choppy - few ticks down - few ticks up ... so i think one point is that it can happen easily that a trader sets his stops too tight.

Kirk, yes - thanks a lot. this helps me. i also know the problem of chasing a market for getting a fill on a bad trade. those things can hurt ... i also have set up the hotkeys for buy and sell (limit). maybe it would be a good idea to do the same for market orders. good luck!
