    'Who' bassist John Entwistle dies

As a keyboardist I would have to say that the song was totally driven by the sequenced keyboard riffs, along with that lame 2 note single string guitar part that Daltry played to pretend he was a musician as well as a singer. :p Due to the nature of the song and its relatively simple...

    Most consistant daytrading style

Yes I do this with some degree of success as well though with a twist. The market is not nice enough to make it nice and comfy and predictable at .9 and .1 as it can wiggle to .8 and .2 or .7 and .3 etc. (it can wiggle to what ever the hell it wants for that matter). So I only take on a...

What kind of Training did everyone do when they Started Day Trading

Subtle but excellent feedback! Where/how would you suggest he learn such things....eg that Triquant sells similar chips to the same companies as RFMD. Most newbies likely know that RFMD is a chip stock but would not know the detailed stull like whether their chips go into networking products...

    THat hot HOusing Market....

Don't mean to sound flip, but wouldn't that kinda look bad on your credit report when you go and try to get the next house?

source for historical Naz Comp daily volume

Nasdaqtrader.com used to give daily historical volume for the comp but now I can't find it or they are charging for it etc. Anyone know where I can find this? IE I want to be able to see the total volume on the comp for each/every day in the historical time period I am looking at. I need it...

    What is "SMART" routing??

That would be me, with my hot keys set up just like I need them, my fingers blazing fast, watching the level 2 screen like a hawk.:D But since you are not me then the next best choice IMO would be using ARCA, specifically on Realtick with its enhanced order functionality specifically for ARCA.

Which you will then ask them to attatch as a word file to a post on this thread?! :) :)

    Point Direx

That's because you use Level 1 while we use Platinum. While Level 1 is a great product compared to other Level 1 type products, it does not compare to Platinum in its functionality and order execution capabilities.

30 sec rule for market makers

But his bid was at .18 which would jump him ahead of any bids at .16 due to price/time priority. I think what MBG is saying is that if the bid was down to say .16 at any point-even if the ask was up at .19-the broker should either fill his order OR post it because it would improve the NBBO...

    alerts/stops

Actually the alerts/stops are held on the trading company's servers so that if Seanotes or anyone else's system were to go down, the alert/stop would still work if triggered. To my knowledge all DAT platforms with stop capabilities work this way and therefore your stops will never be "seen" by...

From Merriam-Webster Hujility-n. a skill possessed only by people who are huge-either in mind or body or both-whereby the huge person demonstrates greater than average agility in dodging verbal attacks from hostile counterparts. :D

    SuperMontage end of July

I guess traders can't do math in their heads lol. Gaz-where did you see the SuperMontage display? Did you actually see a Naz workstation or did you see it as a screenshot somehere else? I would love to see it-at least a pic- but no longer have access to a workstation.-

    Supersoes Reserve Size Display Requirement

I am surprised the delayed implementation took this long actually (from last November).
  16. D

    Arca

Yes agreed. My opinion on the latter point is that ARCA would not see them and would only execute against them unintentionally in a case where ISLD would match the incoming ARCA order to the hidden order because it provides price improvement. However this is merely speculation at this point.

    1% per trade

Because that would make sense. What a stupid question. :)
  18. D

    Arca

If the ISLD order is hidden then how would ARCA know to route the the order there (which I think was Vinny's original point)? Regarding ECN reserve this is an interesting point. At the time ARCA routes the order to the ECN with reserve, ARCA presumable only knows about the displayed...

    Arca

RE: MM's reserve orders-yes ARCA would execute against MM's reserve volume IF Arca had already delivered the order to SUperSOES after exausting its other methods for finding liquidity and IF the MM with reserve size was the only MM at the inside since SS orders execute against all displayed...

    Don's openings Part 3

Yes but he has a much bigger pocket than us and may accumulate size while providing liquidity over a longer timeframe that we are willing or able to stay in. Point is that he may initially be in a losing position that becomes a winning one....but far after we would have been stopped out. I am...
