I think the biggest advantage of having a 2nd account with a different broker is so you can continue to trade and have access to funds if one account is frozen due to a number of reasons. :)

You can't increase the leverage of options, but buying 1 or 2 strikes OTM is optimal for weekly options - that will provide the most bang for the dollar. :)
