Non-US residents holding US stocks are liable to US estate tax of 40%!

Most brokers don't accept accounts of foreign owned LLCs unless they have a US based partner.

Why do most US brokerages not accept EU clients?

Thanks for the clarification. That's so annoying they allowed it up to early 2019! Oh well

Why do most US brokerages not accept EU clients?

Thanks. Hmm thats odd. I get Switzerland but don't see why they make a distinction between some EU countries. Any idea if people who opened before march 2019 could keep their account or if they were forced to close them?

Why do most US brokerages not accept EU clients?

I've seen EU citizens on forums posting about using TD Ameritrade up until about 2017, then they were shut down (going by comments). Something must have changed. Maybe it was the MiFID II

LF someone with experience regarding high refresh rate monitors and trading

Refresh rates do make a difference. I can't do 30hz 4k. Kills my eyes so I had to get a new card to do 60hz on all three 4k monitors. I haven't tried the 120hz monitors yet.

Can't open trading account for single member LLC (foreign)

That didn't work that's why I formed the LLC. I might try again once I get an ITIN but i gotta run it by an accountant first. I don't want to be liable for US taxes on trading (my country has lower tax rates)

Best Country for Trading (Tax efficiency)

Just want to add that starting Jan1 2019 the 14% EHO was replaced with a a new 19% SZOCHO tax. The ceiling is 24 times the minimum wage per year. Previous was set at 450,000HUF. If the minimum wage is (just an example) 150,000 then the max you have to pay is 19% of 150,000 x 24.

Can't open trading account for single member LLC (foreign)

I would but not many players in that otc market segment. IB has a per share commission which is brutal for pennystocks. I'll try a few more in the EURO zone if it doesn't work out.
