    RJO Futures' strange commission schedule

hmmm... long ago, I would easily do 300RT daily, on TF of all things.. 2-3 lots a pop... scalping off the dom, just going with the flow... I dont that anymore as I spread on grains instead, but with spreading comes having to do more size and more volume as a result... I dont know what you do...

    RJO Futures' strange commission schedule

actually, no... you can lease a seat quite cheaply... and with no volume pay $2/RT... do about 5K RT per month and that drops you close to that $1.1/RT... but that depends on FCM of course...

    RJO Futures' strange commission schedule

you are thinking retail... exchange members can be as low as 60c or less depending on the broker and membership type..... edit: just realized the $1.10 was RT... in that case, that is about right for exchange members (depending on membership type.)

    Grain Spreads

hmmmm.... I hear what you are saying, you are using an older term... but when anyone in the present day and age refers to grains or softs they represent the following... softs = Cotton, Orange Juice, Coffee, Sugar, Cocoa, Lumber grains = Wheat complex, Corn, Beans Complex, Oats, Rice, Canola

    Grain Spreads

if I am not mistaken, we are talking about grains on this thread, not softs... so not sure what their failure to trade based on seasonality has to do with the thread...

IB Data costs for Partnership - TOS/OptionHouse?

I could be wrong, but in order to enter an order... you will need real time data.. which means you will need to subscribe to the market you intent to trade, which means you will get billed for that market data... but again, I could be wrong...

    Grain Spreads

MRCI provides lots of ideas for trading spreads... note that I say ideas, not trades... not all their trades work, so use common sense... but usually (assuming exchange traded spreads) just search for whatever has the most volume..

IB Data costs for Partnership - TOS/OptionHouse?

I dont see how I am posting "incorrect" info... I stated facts from your own quoting... perhaps you should actually ask the rep @ NASDAQ if you title the account as an LLC how you will be charged for Market Data... lastly, as gmst stated...please state what brokers will charge you non-pro...

IB Data costs for Partnership - TOS/OptionHouse?

an org is a pro, period... the rest of the things you quoted have to do with individually titled accounts, not LLC titled accounts... in the case of the OP, he will be an LLC... I know as I have the same setup.. lastly, NASDAQ is a single market... they dont all follow similar rules.. the...

IB Data costs for Partnership - TOS/OptionHouse?

family office wont avoid the fees... doesnt work that way... and having a SMLLC investing own money makes no change on being categorized as a non-pro... if you are a legal entity, you are a pro... period.... lastly, I dont get it why people complain so much about market data... first, it will...

lmao.... some people's rambling amaze me... why dont you look at FX, you can do something similar to what you are doing for your desk... now, if you work for an IB, you know you cant really do either of the three without getting in trouble.. there are ways to go around it, but I wont get...
