Tell us where your $$$$ is: Are the majority of your current positions LONG or SHORT?

What are the traditional ways of measuring Joe America's 'bullishness' ... Can anyone point me to the cold numbers that show that most Americans (not just portfolio managers) believe this rally.....

How can you predict though, with any certainty, when Joe America has already put as much money as he can into his 401K? Wouldn't, at that point, it be wise to go short? But how to know?

I've been out of the game since Sep 2001....just got back in and wondered if ECN quotes were no longer included in Level II......anyone? thanks..

Does anyone here use PowerView or TotalView? If so, is it worth the extra money each month? Do you find that it's become an important part of your system? I used Level II for many years, but if you put a gun to my head, I would admit that it made very little difference in my trading...

I'm comparing IB (TWS) to QCharts: The quotes don't even match...for example, IB shows the best ask at 15.82 (28) while QCharts shows the best ask 15.83 (1).... Is IB showing me something that isn't on Level II or is QCharts total crap?

Is there a way to just get DepthView quotes (from supermontage) without signing up for anything more (ie: Level II, PowerView etc....)

Do traders here think that the 'extra depth' with TotalView is an added value in their trading? Inotherwords, has it made ANY difference to your profitability as a trader since you begin using TotalView instead of just plain old Level II?

I was hoping to hear that; Why pay for the nd at $50 when the nq ($15) will work great......I trade strictly Nasdaq stocks, as stupid as that is, and I want to keep an eye on the futures as the seem to move way before the Nasdaq Comp itself..........

I used Nextrend before the PDT rule took effect and put an end to my trading.....now I have the money to trade again, but I am unsure as to which provider I should go with. I liked the value (ie, cheapness) of NexTrend but it didn't have pre/post market data: Is that still the case? Are they...

I used Qcharts two years ago and their data was ALWAYS several seconds delayed, or froze up completely, or I couldn't log on.....are they still experiencing such lousy reliability? I actually really liked how customizable the product was, and would've gladly stayed had they not had so many...

I trade only Nasdaq stocks, and would like to keep an eye on the Nasdaq futures chart during the day...would substituting EMini QQQs do the trick, or should I stick with the real CME Futures (ND03U)...... Thanks for your opinions......
