I thought this too at one point, but ETH can't even handle 1 app with crypto kitties without it clogging the whole network.
It would run into the same scaling issues bitcoin has. I see all this talk about blockchain solving everything and have yet to see one tangible product or service to come...
Do instances like gdax going down during high vol throw a wrench in your operations or create opportunity? Just went down the other day. Also noticed $1000 difference between Gdax/Bitfinex price around that time.

Coinbase is such a bucket shop and it's the main link between USD and Crypto. Scary. Goes out all the time on high vol days. What a racket.

Bitfinex is fraudulent. They create USDT tethers out of thin air and then magically bid up bitcoin with them. I hope CME drops them from their "Bitcoin reference rate"

The price limits and weekend gaps will be interesting. Currently bitcoin cash exchanges go 24/7 which I always thought was a cool feature about bitcoin compared to current stocks,options,fx, futures trading hours.
