Got it. Omnesys makes some messaging software which Rithmic in turn uses to make A trading platform which Zen Fire uses for their product.
So Zen Fire is just a hodgepodge of 3rd party software (rithmic, omnesys).
Thanks.
Jonathan, that's interesting. So, Rithmic makes and operates Zen Fire, what's the relationship between Rithmic and Omnesys? It all seems a bit confusing.
Thanks.
Maybe I'm mistaken (which very well may be the case) but can't you write strategies in OEC (in C# or upload/convert Easy Language) and auto trade them from right within OEC? I thought they had a plugin which let you do this?
Maybe brownsfan can help me out...
Gary, have you looked into OEC? They claim to offer exchange supported spreads (although I think you need to contact them to turn it on in demo) and offer access to LIFFE. I've been lookinh at their API over the last 2 weeks and its really not all that bad considering they're primarily known...
Has anyone tried the FX demo yet? They don't have much (if anything) on their website about it and I tried downloading it but got a message that I have already used up my demo period.
Have you looked at OEC's platform? They offer them as a single symbol. You may need to have their tech support turn them on for you after you download.
I couldn't figure out how to get to them initially, but after working with support it seems fairly straight forward now.
Who is ZenFire anyway?
All I've been able to find is a very vanilla website with limited general information (www.zen-fire.com). No company address...nothing...very strange
