Think I get it. Bloomberg provide all live-feeds I may need, and is able to route orders to the exchange. But in order to make orders I need a clearing firm. However, I can get as much live-data I need without a clearing firm.

Well, I understand you need an account in order to make real trades. But only to recieve the live-feed should be a different story
