Owning a stock both as long as well as short

I had this in the past with Etrade ( on Etrade pro). I wanted to short a stock and by accident went long, then shorted the stock and it did accept the trade. The stock did go down and closed the trade when I was profitable and during the next few days averaged down on my long position until I...

    which youtube "traders" are legit?

He does scalp trading mostly. Most of his trades are breaking news which he gets via Benzinga and other live news sources. His strategy which he explains in his videos is mostly COC/CUC (candle over/under candle). You can see his strategy in this video

    which youtube "traders" are legit?

The most valid/honest trader that I found is broadcasting daily on Twitch live and has lots of videos on YT.. He goes by the name “stockjock” , I’ve followed him for years, he tells you his strategy again and again and sells nothing (courses, subscriptions, etc.)

    Anyone use moving average indicators?

100%...I used to struggle as well and i blew up a few accts. If i scalp for 5-10 cents profit than i can't afford to lose.

    Anyone use moving average indicators?

i use it both on the 1 min and 5 min. If 9ema crosses the VWAP on both time frames i go in. Once it goes against me, i wait for 2 candles under the 9ema to get out. (these candles shouldn't touch at all the 9ema).

    Anyone use moving average indicators?

I find that the 9ema crossover over VWAP works for me as a scalp either long or short.

Equities prop firm w/no need for license

I was daytrading for a 1-2 years. However, for personal reasons i have to take most of the money out of my trading acct. which leaves me with less the the $25k PDT requirement. So, i'm searching for a prop firm so i can continue trading. I'm also not interested in going thru the whole process of...

    Options vs. Futures, what's better?

I'm trying to phase out of equity day trading and try different markets. I looked a little into options and futures. What do you guys think is easier (easier to learn, less risk, more profitability etc.) to trade? and what are the pros and cons of these 2 markets? Thanks

    DayTrading the VIX/S&P

The main question, is it consistently profitable to daytrade it on a daily basis ? a lot of strategies are good for specific times and specific trends. I'm sure that the big investment and hedge companies have algos for different strategies, the question is for the average daytrader who sits...
