    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I traded real money monday - thursday. 13 trades. Net loss 2 points. Basically I was all over the place the first three days. A monkey could have done equally good. Thursday was the first day when I managed to stay disciplined and focused and do the right thing at the right time. I only had...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

You are a true genius. I spent a couple of hours with the program, but that idea never occoured to me. :)

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I didn´t really understand your last questions Achilles, but I only focus on the main channels and patterns. The best thing you can do is to look carefully at Maks and easyriders charts in the previous thread and spend day in day out drawing them in realtime. I cheat a litlle and use moving...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

lol, nobodys around in the mornings. But I should work instead of reading threads. Sierra is 120 usd a year. Qoute tracker is free with commercials. I´ve only looked at a little, but you will find out in a minute that it´s impossible to trade with commercials blinking on your screen.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

You can zoom in and out easily between time frames on sierra, but sometimes a trend line from a higher time frame are missing on the 5-min chart. If I understod it right this is a programming limitation of some sort and can´t be fixed easily.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I use sierra charts, I´ve come to like it and they make a lot of improvements all the time. I think easyrider uses quote tracker, seems nice too. Both these programs are very cheap.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Point 1 doesn´t have to be a failure to traverse and point 1-2-3 can all exist inside the previous channel. But sometimes it takes a while for the market to reverse so the first point 1-2-3 doesn´t necessary have to be of importance, volume and bar lenght is good to watch to get clues, but if...

    Papertrading...

The ib paper account is superb. I´m not sure, but it feels like I almost get worse fills in the simulator compared to real money :) Second thing I like is that everything looks exactly like it does with real money. I got damn nervous first time I used it :)

Street Smarts By Laurence Connors For Sale

This book is on dc++, I downloaded it myself. Since I was only interested in a couple of chapters it was no problem to read it on the computer.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Thanks for charts Dell-boy. I will probably start trading real money on monday, I´ll post results at the end of the week. If I don´t make any money I can at least entertain Hypofysimus, so in any case someone will end the week with a smile on his face.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I did very good in the beginning of februari, then I started to bend my rules, thought this was easy. I only look at very few situations that I wanna trade, but I actually managed to fade my own set-ups :). So I ended up loosing more then I had won. Been paper trading since then. Its at least...

A good trailing stop amount for ER2?

I don´t understand the greek (:)) but I have a practise to get better tuned in with the price action. When a swing ends and the retracement starts I count the ticks/minute during the last swing. If the market moved say 4 points in 20 minutes, for er2 that would be 40/20 = 2.0. What I want is...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

For you who uses sierrachart, I´m the one who suggested the new functions that makes it possible to cut extended trendlines and to right-click on trendlines to make adjustments. If a buss runs me over tomorrow, I believe this is what I will be remembered for.

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

Are you sure ES/YM was down pre market because of bonds? I was following Dax, and since it dropped 100 points and ES was following it almost exactly, I was sure that it was europe that dragged american markets down. But everybody seames to have a different answer to what happened so I don´t...
