Robin, the moment TWS receives your orders from TS, if it is then sent to the exchange almost instantaneously, then it cannot be IB's fault. Check your audit trail. Unless you can see an obvious delay..... Once it is send to the exchange, the matching is out of IB's hands.... Unless...

yeah, i agree to this too.... Unless you are doing something like long options..... very often risk is not quantifiable too....

I think ES and SGXNK is not that good a hedge for Hong kong... I guess STW is a closer proxy..... But what about the HSI, HHI warrants traded on SGX ? Did you consider using them to hedge ?

IF that's the case then won't IB have at least 14minutes to warn your customers ? Unless you are saying that the there was no broadcast from both the met service and the Exchange.

I trade. I produce a Newsletter which lists my picks and and have done it for some time. Those receiving it know the accuracy. I've helped many traders by listing how I watch the markets and they have taken the information and used it to improve on their own trading by verifying the data...

Just chatted with IB support.... They admit there is a problem.... and now data is back on. But the data has been intermittently on and off this whole morning.... For me.. i will take a break today All the best guys.
