Thanks Waggie...does anybody else have information on this purchase which could obviously impact many of the brokerage firms in the direct access space???
I have heard that Direct Access Financial was acquired by BofA. What does this mean for current BDs using the product (and white-labeling it)? Keep in mind that in the past this has not faired well for ASP BDs. TradeScape, TradeCast, REDI and CyberTrader all shut off most of their BD clients...
Looking for a quality buy side forum/chat room, willing to pay for intersting deal flow...any suggestions? Prefer to stay away from pump&dump day trading rooms...
All RealTick brokers are the same if you are trading from a retail account. However, if you are trading for a fund/institution, look beyond the interface and towards how well your rep knows the software and the people at Townsend. You may also look to see if the broker offers a back-up system...

Those faceless spirits on the bridge out on Clear Creek
Do you remember when disaster struck that night
Yeah those white lines disappear without a warning
As the unsuspecting moon to the tide
One by one as they go down
Sugar man drags you round
Yeah...
The differences that I have come across are merely cosmetic. None the less, even though most of our business is DVP, the hedge funds that we deal with want to know that there is a clearing firm behind our BD that has a strong name and reputation.
Does anybody know of any trade reporting tools that can be used to analyze high volume traders?
I am looking for something that can be used either at the end of the day, or in real time.
