Silicon Valley VC says 1 bitcoin will be worth $100,000

Yeah I get the whole 'harder to mine' thing but really that's more like inflation. I can say that my house will be worth 10 million in the future because the price of everything rises with time. Any they don't make any more real estate. The last ever bitcoin may cost $100K to mine but that...

How can a Bitcoin be worth $100,000K when you can buy a Bitcoin mining computer for 12K and make a new coin using $50 worth of electricity?

how much trades for validate a strategy

It depends on your win rate. I'd be more comfortable with 50 trades at a 70% win rate than 100% trades at a 50% win rate, even if both made money. I higher win rate gives your more advance warning on system degradation. With the first scenario, a fall in the win rate will tell you something...

    Automated programming and testing

I think that worrying about whether a broker is analysing your trades is a total waste of time. To make money from trading, you have to execute trades through a broker - or you can go and buy your own broking firm. So why worry about something you can't change. If you have a good system...

    Automated programming and testing

It really doesn't matter is a broker copies your trades or fades them. If you have direct execution, the broker can only entry a trade after you not before you, so it will not affect your entry price.

    Automated programming and testing

Unfortunately, if they see the code to run the system, it doesn't really matter if they legally own the code or you legally own it. Once they have a copy, they can trade it even if you own it, because there is really no way you can prove otherwise. If they run a server somewhere to trade it...
