Great call on that 1378-1380 for today, tommymoose - looks like it remains the top for today. Nice one.

It may be so, but so far I'm considering it quite probable that at least 1383 will be touched. I don't expect my zones to be hit, but I'm not jumping the gun lower until I see something that really convinces me and still gives a decent R/R. Otherwise I prefer to sit on my hands.

Trying for a 1383.5 MIT short with a 3-pt stop. They havent exhausted the upmove just yet, so good chances of reaching these levels.

I like the analysis. I have 1381.50-1384.50 as the zone where some larger supply should come in. We'll probably need more than 1 test of the zone for it to confirm as strong resistance, so I'm trying to be patient there, especially considering yesterday's move. On the long side, I'd like to...

Wouldn't be shorting this market right now except for a few point scalps (which I don't do normally). 1359-1362 is a decent probability resistance area, but I expect some consolidation below this area, nothing more.

Should be grind time now.. market's in desperate need to shake off some longs.

Still looking rather bullish and expecting I might get stopped out on this one.. stop held by 1 tick so far, but leaving it on, because if it fails, then looks to be a nice candidate for a move down to 1340. EDIT stopped out -2.5pts

    Going for a quick 2:1 R/R short at 1348.00, stop -2.50pts

Some momentum exhaustion present as they touched 1343.50. Globex R2 here also (at 1341.75)..

Smells like a gap-n-go.. up to 1343-1345 at minimum. Quite probable to reach 1348-1350. The bullish stucture, that has been forming with the relatively slow downwards retracement the past 4-5 trading days, got confirmed with the 1321->1316->1325 move in the early globex session. I'd expect the...

To follow multi-day trends, I use 60min/30min candles, depending on volatility. Pullbacks in them - the intraday swings - are swings I monitor on 5min/10min charts. So these are the timeframes I have in mind, when talking about trends and intraday swings within multi-day trends. I monitor...

It's definitely safer, but you'll miss the move more often than not. That is, when trying to ride the trend by entering on pullbacks. Multi-day trends do end with consolidation and usually with a visible double or triple test of support/resistance area, yes. That's a good time to be patient...

Expecting a stronger bounce up from the 1304-1307.00 area that would lead to a test of the 1323-1325 area at a minimum. Planning a long at 1305.50 with 1323.00 as the primary target. Along with several fib retracements/extensions there's also a measured move that points to the 1304-1307 area...

They might take out those stops clustered at the 1441-1442 before attempting for the next leg up. Re-test of globex pivot at 1340 or lower levels would mean excess weakness for me and for that reason I'm maintaining my stop there for now. 15/30min shows warning signs. I plan to raise my...
