Sorry to mislead.. It isn't in the billions (at least not yet)... Maybe that'll be an issue I have to deal with in the future. When you are managing money for a lot of old wealthy investors in far away places, you never know what happens.

I had it when I used to work at an investment bank. It makes a you a Securities Principal and gives you many powers to oversee other brokers and traders dealing in stocks and various other investments. That exam was brutal... All I can say is good luck...

Any monkey with a pulse can get to trade OPM. It's not that hard. Never tell anyone what you can't or couldn't do. As you learn more and gain more experience.. you realize that your goals are ok.. but, not that great.. and that you can have much higher aspirations in life.

The whole thing is a mess.. not much paper work required to set up a hedge fund (depending on what sort of a fund it is)... but the filings can be tricky and expensive depending on what jurisdictions you plan to deal in.
