When I started trading SPX iron condors maybe a year ago I was told never let them expire. Prudent advice that I have always followed.

The risk in selling puts is if the underlying moves down. The puts you sold...someone out there bought them. If RSH goes to zero, you obligation WILL NOT vanish along with the company.

Following up after some research, I don't think any of these answers are correct, other than the Jade Lizard one. Surely Sosnoff didn't come up with a unique trading strategy that doesn't have a name, did he? Again, sell a call spread and sell a put. ETA: I think Jade Lizard is a term Sosnoff...

He has been here under a number of aliases. Editing to fundamentally change the flavor of a post used to be his MO. I haven't paid much attention to him lately. He is a hoot tho, as long as no one takes him seriously.

If the trade goes hard against you will you be editing your post again to make it seem as if the trade was a winner or have you finally gotten past that?

I pretty much exclusively trade SPX options and haven't had a problem. I can't imagine the frustration. Hope they resolve it for you soon.

I think the TOS greeks problem is with futures. Seems I read that on Twitter.
