500 stocks on iqfeed with level 2 gives me 17GB per day but that's because everything is in expanded to CSV format. My estimate is 700MB per day before decompression. Easily doable on most internet connections nowadays.

It may be a bargain for you but it's a ripoff for people like me who don't need it.

So... Just got off from a chat with a DTN sales person and was told that if I want to make my own custom software to work with their feed I'll have to pay $300/y for the API. I'll have to do this even if I reverse engineer other existing software in order to make my custom software...

Hmm, when I checked a few stocks some of them seemed quite liquid with high volume. Any other comments on the nature of these stocks?

I know this is an old thread but I'm also really interested in this. Does anyone else know anything more about the nature of stocks on the NSE? Any idea where/how to get historical tick data for it?
