TS 2000i + eSignal + eSignal plugin = bets solution in your case.
you will get both RT and History abilities.
not expensive and good quality.
pay attention for this for example: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20870
Can any clever guy tell me the pay-off diagram for this strategy:
long iron gut butterfly: +call -call -put +put,
(strike1 lower than strike2 lower than strike2 lower than strike4)
short iron gut butterfly: -call +call +put -put,
(strike1 lower than strike2 lower than strike2...
thanks for the tip, i will pay attention to NeoTicker, but regarding TS - it also has them like indicators, but seems they are really slow if one use huge amount of data.
Me too use UniServer. This is really the simpliest way to get continous contracts fi you use eSignal datafeed. But i have bought it from www.tssupport.com Do you know if is there any difference ??
mercury, thasnk you for the answer, but i hope that you understand that:
1. tickdata is rather expensive.
2. [more important]: i want to backtest systems on esignal data, for this i need to have esignal history data saved on my HDD.

>> AS FOR ON-DEMAND SERVER:
seems like it load data directly into tradestation chart not into glohalserver so i will not be able to test anything without being connected to esignal. so i need either unisever or dynastore.
i wonder if nobody here used both these products ???
thanks but i wanna work with tradestation, and i meant the software WHICH WILL LET WORK GLOBAL SERVER WITH INTRADY ASCII data.
does anybody know about any of it ?
