Zen and The Art of Trading

The most important thing is to find an edge yourself... the preferred edge would be to frontrun buyers and sellers... and not curve fitting hit or missed magic, math and theories. Even statistical models are questionable for retail traders.

    Getting my act together

Well that's trading... it will rarely be perfect. You can beat yourself up... you can make money... you can lose money but whatever you do... DON'T DEVIATE FROM THE PLAN. When you deviate, steer back the best you can - that is trading. Good job but stay with the plan. next! Comment from a...

    Getting my act together

Keep up with the good work gutsy. Remember our enemies is us. Manage the pressure and tilt. Always steer back when things get off track like on a snow road... don't let it slide. Tighten up the defense.

Because we are talking in concepts here and that is as close as you can get. Otherwise, everybody would be silent in expressing the truth but then you wouldn't know who gets a little of it and who is pretending and who is just spacing out.

    Getting my act together

Hi gutsy, Just finished the entire journal. Nice read. At first I thought your method requires a lot of quick scalps but looks like it is working fine for you since 3 trades a day is not bad. I don't see any problem except some tilting after some losses (11/14) and adding contracts too...

    Getting my act together

Hey gutsy, I read pass half of your journal. I would say you are a generous man. I can also see why the pro spent the time on you. Here is my feedback for the first half but I must warn you I am not in any position to give advice: 1) Priority #1 is your family. Stay focus in...

    Spiritual Aspects of Trading

There is a meditation exercise to see so-called "pure vision" or your imaginary deity as illusory... Yes ILLUSORY. The pure vision is a tool to be discarded at certain stage of development.... The entire path is all fucking engineered and tuned. If one hasn't gone thru the entire process, yes...

    Spiritual Aspects of Trading

Vhehn, We have never ever dealed with reality... ever. We always fixate upon our own conceptual imputations. If you have already see beyond the mess, recognize beyond the mess is same nature with the mess and therefore there is no need to strive... all the power to you. Otherwise if...
