    IB classify them as 'options' not 'future options'. Maybe IB has them wrongly classified. The indication in the future options column in the above url doesn't really make sense if there is no such product!?

    I have seen the same thing a few times recently on EOE options. I have the impression it only happens when there has been no trades in the contract for the day. I for sure has seen it with both a bid and ask.

    I believe the three contries I mentioned do not have any criterions to make the distinction between investment and trading. Individuals will not be taxed on capital gains.

    Switzerland, Holland, Belgium have no capital gain tax. I believe the US is quite unique with such a law.

    Saxobank will give you a two-way quote for options. Most pairs have a spread of 10 pips. I believe that is a lot better than Refco.
