I'll bump this. Two of many papers that show that TA works. Keep in mind that the researchers probably has less skill than a lot of traders.

That sound a bit lik a martingale system, which I believe everyone here agrees is doomed to fail...

This is my belief. I think that as the actors get more and more effective, exploiting other actors will be harder and harder to the point where the profit is less than the spread/commission. I do not believe in the EMH.

@marketsurfer I have read most of this thread but admittedly not everything. I also read an older thread that was started back in 2007 which brought up the same thing. Do you believe that TA work at all? There was a recent paper published which claimed that the market paid attention to...
