I would imagine you mean printing the portfolio manager? My God...yes, I miss that. Unfortunately with RT you have to go to Penson and print...the next day. That does suck. I'm not a huge chart guy, so RT does all the charting that I need. It does have a cool right click print feature...I'm...
Cheaper? I'll be saving about half of what I normally pay for commissions (saving about 13-15G) from switching from Schwab CT/SS Pro to Real Tick. This is in regard to equity trades, as I don't do options.
You're right about customer service, though it has somewhat dimished since the...
RT must have made some changes since you've used them. By using the F7 key, I believe, it puts an order entry into any screen. Obviously I use the order entry with the level II info, along with time and sales. The order entry, btw, is all customizable too. Pretty cool. What I mean by that...
They have default overlays. Once you modify you change and save under your own file name using 'save as'. And then each window, for instance the stock box or level II, has multiple defaults. All are customizable to fit whatever you need. It's funny...it's complex and has a ton of...
They have webinars atleast once a week that showcases the software, and answers questions. The one I attended didn't have many people in it, which was great. I was able to rattle off all my questions, which were answered immediately. I think their website has a list of dates...if not, give...
Real Tick has everything, plus alot more than what CT had. It is the most customizable software I've ever seen. There has not been one thing that this software can not do. Hell, you can even customize your stock box/level II to include things like short interest (over a thousand items to add...
I negoiated that. I guess 10 years in sales finally paid off.
Talk with Kevin. He'll work with you. Super nice guy. He'll either give it to you (the discount) on the front or back end. It's strange for me to pay for software, but with the discount, who can complain?
Just thought I'd let you all know that I've decided to go with RML Trading. They have multiple trading platforms, but the one I like is Realtick. Realtick has several news sources. If you go to there website it lists which brokers sell their software, along with information on the software...
I've thrown Fidelity into the mix. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. RML pricing much better than TerraNova. I'm also looking at Lightspeed, Cobra, Noble, Master and Speed Trader. Man this is a headache!
Cobra has the news feature you're looking for. You can request a demo and they'll email you one...very similiar to Cybertrader. The reason I can't go with them is the per share vs. the per trade charge (they charge per share).
That's the one feature (linked news) that I'm having issues...
I too am looking at Cobra...but they don't offer per trade pricing (only per share pricing). I average 5,000 per trade, with sometimes getting up near 20,000 shares....The per share pricing would kill me. With that in mind, I've been looking at Noble, MasterTrader, and SpeedTrader. I'm...
Richard...Richard Koza, right? This is the third or fourth time you've tried to sell this broker to me. Is this a pyramid type scam or what? Either way, I'm not interested, so please discontinue me from your ad campaign!
Funny that you ask...I noticed the same thing late yesterday. I'll inquire Monday morning and post my results.
I'm leaning towards Noble. They have bent over backwards working with me, making sure their software is comparable to my needs. Their pricing is better than what I was getting at...
