I have been trading the differences between the NQ and ES the last month with success until I got hit hard being short NQ/long ES during the Apple earnings. It was different than the Intel earnings where the NQ & ES rebalanced with each other in time. Anyway, I've been trying to play catch...

I know I saw it posted somewhere in this journal from a few different people, but I can't find it. What do you use for pertinent info for the trading day such as earnings reports, fed announcements, etc. I just got burned (NQ) due to my own ignorance of the Apple earnings coming out.

Done for this $12K - just finished at $21,788 in 7.5 trading days.....finally found something to take advantage of my natural inclinations that works.

I have a similar problem and had a 90%+ win ratio with negative earnings due to taking winners way too soon and letting losers run to infinity while adding in. I trade ES, YM, and NQ. This may sound strange, but I finally found something that worked for me. Although I had a hard time...

Quick Answer. Been shorting on and off. Had a GREAT Monday & Tuesday; even Wednesday - made more than I lost Thursday & Friday. Trying to post and read less to see if that helps my trading and focus. Being new, I often allow what I read affect my trading.

Stayed up late to see it drop to 996.50 and begin to bounce, got out of one with mental stop at 00:42:40 @ 1000.75. But my placed stop orders didn't hit on the order I set @ 1004.75? Apparently you have to check a little box on stop orders if you want it filled outside of RTH, but not on any...

Add (4) @ 1001.50 Already stopped on (2) @ 1002.75
