Larval - Tool to find volatile stocks

I'm not paying for anything currently, let's see how long I can keep it that way. Not gonna hate too much on my main job, sometimes I get to code fun stuff and I have a lot of control there... It's a better gig than most, just been the same thing for a long time.

This is an escape from my day job, making something I want instead of what they want... But they pay the bills, I better keep doing what they want.

Alright, you two won me over. Should be able to order by all the columns now, you can cycle through normal (green), reverse (red), and original (default color) by click the same header multiple times. It will still keep the alert/notification (pulsating green/red background) rows in a group at...

That was my initial intention but I put it on the backburner as I couldn't see a purpose of sorting by anything other than ~5min moves as it's the point of the whole thing. What else would you sort by and why? Probably isn't gonna kill anything to add it either way though.

I'm ingesting various things people are saying and taking note of things multiple people say. Whatcha got.

Yeah, I don't have a good source for afterhours currently, it's intermittent and delayed. It's 4-8pm and looks again around 8am. I just called it all "after hours" for now. I'll be honest, since I can't trade options in the afterhours I put it on the back burner.

The alert settings highlight (pulsating red/green background) whatever criteria is met in the settings, then it has your browser fire off a notification and makes a beep sound if audible alerts are on. After that the overall list is just showing what's moving the most (even if it doesn't meet...

Not a bad idea on the price filter, might add that when I get a chance. The volume is (misleadingly?) for total volume, as I was getting too many alerts for things with a couple thousand of volume, could make a an option for the 5 minute movement only though. Things I'll ponder.

I've got a little minipc with a tiny monitor on my desk (see ghetto image attached) that I've been using for the past 2 years, this website was made mainly to make it portable. So I'm definitely motivated to keep it running for my own purposes.

The afterhours is delayed ~20 minutes, so ultimately useless for my/(anyones?) purposes, I just put it there in case I wanted to expand upon it. The reason I made it for myself was during the market hours (which is not delayed, other than the ~5 minute window it takes to determine the price...

The alerts are audible or browser-level notification popups (left open in the background during the day), if the criteria in the settings is applicable. I thought about email alerts or similar, but the whole use case is for finding the volatility right as it's happening.

Larval - Tool to find volatile stocks

A couple years ago I made a script that searches for rapid price changes (every ~5 minutes), generally to sell CSPs against, but there are several strategies one could use. Recently I slapped a GUI on the idea and have thrown it out there for anyone else that might find a use out of it...
