Or Actant, or TBricks. I think there are plenty of commercial tools that calculate things properly. It's just that these tools cost a heavy engagement ring per month and are not aiming the small retail investor.

You don't want to use Views on a large table. You want to transform the data once and that's it.
Also keep in mind that Views work only well with simple tasks, such as combining data from different tables or reshuffling columns a bit.
Again, you want an ETL script that runs and pours...
Does a possible copyright on quote data ever expire, just as it does with books when their author is dead for 50/75 years?
I am wondering if recorded quote data may be redistributed after a while, although the original data contract excluded a redistribution.
Thanks
@amazingIndustry ... did you read the post at all? Have you ever traded stocks in multiple currencies? How does your trading account look like?
Cheers mate
@naifwonder
so, in terms of reporting, what are your requirements?
for example, do you want interest charges applied to forex positions?
do you want to have a report split by currency of your traded assets?
what do you look for?
cheers
nah, it's not about 100 dollars. The least I belief in is a 100 dollar product.
But with plenty of open source platforms out there, why did you not choose one of those?
