its the trade server thats down not the platform

the index funds basically end up selling the other 499 names through basis trades with the sell side desks who actually sell the futures and then cross the index with the index funds..

Does anyone know the dollar value the index funds have to sell of the sp futures to offset the difference in market caps of BR coming out of spx and goog going in..could be considerable pressure on sp futures
