CNBC hates daytraders. I remember they had a whole series on the evils of daytrading back in early 2000. This guy was probably smoking some pot in his garage. They just love dishin negative dirt on day trading. Just another nail in the coffin.

OK, we are obviously entrenched in a bear market with seemingly little upside potential. That doesnt mean the world is about to end. Everybody just relax. Its OK. Tommorow the sun will still rise and the birds will still sing.

I heard they were coming out in June on Trading Markets. That was last month. I haven't heard anything since. I figured by this point there would have been more of a buzz about them.

SIngle Stock Futures are scheduled to be released at the end of June. Surprisingly, I have heard relatively little about them??? Has anyone heard anything about these new investment tools???

There are ways to make money in this market. However, I do agree that the time horizon has changed from seconds, and minutes to hours and days. The VIX has been extremely instrumental in identifying overbought and oversold conditions. Larry Conners on trading markets has several VIX indicators...

Yeah, Mindless momentum trading is gonna make a comeback along with bellbottoms, black and white TVs and rotary phones.
