WSJ: You won't believe what's in that stimulus bill.

As has been stated (here..in this very thread) before, Bush actually did try to tighten credit and undo some of the very problems that are still festering. Rather early in his presidency actually. The dems blocked it all, and he stopped trying.

Why? As long as they promise, charismatically of course, to fix it and give me other people's money, I'm in! It's a win-win.

I bet if I dig through enough records, I could also find a Dem that at some point has voted for a tax cut and spin that as a majority position that's had an impact on our economy.

I apologize because now I'm just not following our train of thought at all. I'm referring to the post you JUST quoted and replied to minutes ago outlining just a few of the Clinton policies responsible for crippling the forces of free markets.

This is all very well known and documented. I'm actually not trying to be an ass here, but was that sarcasm?

Nice talking points. He is guilty.... of letting decades old democrats' policies FESTER while sitting on his hands and getting blamed for it. Carter and Clinton began the policies that led to decades of irresponsible government meddling in demand (i.e. trying to play God with the forces of a...

It's like watching a nice car get crash tested.... but the car is our country, and we aren't learning anything from it -- we already know the script. The testers are just too stupid to care. Makes me sick to my stomach.

Maybe this will help: Once an order is closed (i.e. the order you used to get into a position, say buy 100 IBM), you cannot reuse that order ID. You can only use that orderID to modify THAT order. To send a NEW order to change that position (SELL 100 IBM), you must have a new, unique...

I was just talking about positions as far as programming is concerned. A position is a state. What's the position in IBM? (300) ... 0 ... 400. The orders you use (manually in the UI) to build into this position won't affect your future orders. You do not need to know anything about...

I think there's a little confusion between "position" and "order". You say you want to open a position, but assign it an order ID. Positions don't know anything about orders, and are not tied to order IDs. If you "buy or sell some" --> "open a position" and the order fills, the position in...

    Chuck Norris Trading Facts

Chuck Norris doesn't shop at a grocery store -- he takes delivery of commodity futures. Limits are imposed because of his appetite, and his appetite alone. When Chuck Norris takes a dump, the VIX jumps several points. He then wipes his ass with certifictes of IP stock.

Oh no, I hear you. I think we're saying the exact same thing. The fact that COM doesn't play well w/ .NET was just a side point. They need to stop sitting on their hands and actually take some action. I'd love to go in and just clean house.... but I can barely even get more than 1 email...
