    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

I went long at about 4am ET and took a loser as well... the morning looked good up until about 9:50ET when it became apparent that we were going south for a while. Side note... what is R4? Fibs?

DX is still way below the bottom 5-day (2 stdv) BB... I think there's a good chance it'll push north to the lower 5-day BB (roughly 79.58) again today (already printed there earlier this AM)...

    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

The US was originally intended to be the model of a representative democracy... that's what our founders hoped for. Our current system of financial thuggery and institutionalized-bribery for laws is a farce; it rightly deserves the scorn of US citizens. ~~~ Our cause is in the hands of...

Golden cross on the $SPX chart today... anyone short should think twice if the 10:05 candle hasn't already convinced you...

Hey Bears, Let me hear your roar!

So... the golden cross of the 50/200 day SMA happened today. Take a look at the 10:05 ET candle and tell me the technicians in the market are still dead.

Hey Bears, Let me hear your roar!

Sure technicians are dead and the ES and $SPX never resist or bounce off 50-day MAs or 20-bar EMAs... traders who don't put them on their charts never see the price action resulting from them... those who do realize they are still quite relevant.

Which free or low cost charting software?

I use their DDF feed... it's about $60/month for my complete quote package... base DDF fees are $40/month plus whatever data plans you pack on top of it. Pricing breakout here: https://www.barchart.com/register/realtime/?ID=SC

Which free or low cost charting software?

I use Barchart.com... they're a pretty solid stream in my experience. I've had one problem with them (they said their network time server HW went down), and they refunded a month's dues for the trouble. I was an IT network guy in the dot-com years... Financial shops will raise hell if they...
