As an index futures trader, I am tempted by Forex, but the daunting task before me is learning its patterns, behavior, responses and periods of biggest volume. I'm just not sure I want to go back to school and learn a new instrument, but as I watch domestic emini volume decrease, I may have to.

I have to agree with this post. There are far too many losing traders on ET to allow each one access to successful traders. There is a reason they are the house losers. Stinking thinking bleeds onto posts. Kudos for those who are successful at chewing the meat and spitting out the bones...
