I am doing in fact the same, when i win 5000, i''ll say i won 500 today, it was an excellent day, shall i take us to a restaurant? the same with losing, all divide it minimum by 10. So everybody is not worried and happy. Actually i have said to her " one day i come home and i call the kids...

When i am going short with a small number of contracts, i hope that i wrong so that i can go short at a higher level and again. My wife thinks i am crazy losing money, and i see that as the investment for next ride prices going south, and then i have a proper number of contracts :)

The hardest thing of daytrading is doing nothing. When markets do not move enough i have to stick by my plan "no trading" because that has proven its value in the past. In the mean time it is very boring, looking to the screen. Do you have the same problem?, and what do you do with this?

I am curious at what point you decide to open a position, short or long, and what makes you to decide to go out? For myself i open a small position short after a jump up or a considerious fall. From that position i wait till we have about 10 ticks difference up or down, and then i make a...
