    Any interbank spot traders around?

It sounds me interesting. Where do you see this on the website ? This is pleasant: "Moreover, our ECN model mitigates conflicts of interest inherent in some other platforms. We do not take positions against our clients and therefore do not profit whether you make or lose money." And...

Discussion is always useful for me. I'm not trading. I'm learning. In this thread I have learned. I've learned that fx markets have specific characteristics that other markets haven't. And these is not written on books or on the brokers' contracts. I'm not interested in who is right and who...

Are there drawbacks to working with such a liquid market?

So, rejoining the arguments, there is no real chance to get real profits with these retail brokers ? I approached forex because I loved its liquidity, the certainty of the transaction at the market price, the absence of a book queue ... In forex futures are there all these (imho) advantages ?

Are there drawbacks to working with such a liquid market?

I didn't know this. What I knew is that if there is no counterpart among the broker's customers, the order is sent to the outside market. If any counterpart is found, then there is a requote. Perhaps are you telling that Brokers and Market Makers are different entities, and so, have different...

Are there drawbacks to working with such a liquid market?

Sorry, but I don't understand this ... Why they have to pay out of their pockets for profits made with a trade between their customers, if profit from one customer is equal to the loss of another customer ?

Are there drawbacks to working with such a liquid market?

I'm a newbie, but I think that one think is true in crgarcia post: some of the operations you do with a broker are "bucketing". A broker have to find a counterpart for your transaction, and the first counterpart that he searches is among its customers. This couls be see as bucketing. If he...
