    Now with T+1, can proceeds from a stock sale be used to buy another stock the same day w/o margin?

    so what would happen in the scenario in my post? You would get charged margin for 1 day then 0 for the remaining days?

    Now that we are T+1, does that mean, in a cash account, if you sell a stock position in the postmarket, the next morning in the pre-market the proceeds of the sale will be available to repurchase stocks?
