I feel like holding positions for that long works a lot better for stocks and crypto-only, I think we can all agree that the promise of quick profits in markets like pairs on shorter time frames can be appeasing but it really can't be guaranteed thing too since it's difficult to get, at least...

I actually looked into that and it doesn't apply to time frames of H4 and lower, it just gets confusing from there on but the profits have been looking better now.

Those are all very great points but the first one really resonated with me, as I started working on weekly charts instead of daily charts, and everything is just a lot better now.

So I suppose we'll keep this thread alive for five years and find out. Nothing will come close to BTC.

I mean it does really help make things a lot easier sure, but nothing is the same, that was my only point on it.

With everything new, there is always an initial phase of excitement, and it just starts ruining everything. Nothing feels like it used to, everything is losing the human touch and trading won't be any different. I hate the way this is all going.

Focusing on one asset only can make you a master, but only on just that. What will you do when the market is not good for you to trade that?

TA is awesome, but you definitively want to explore other approaches and views of the market as well.

The reason is the early enthusiasm to some point if you ask me, and that ends up bumming you down after a few losses.
