would it be correct to call bullish divergence on multiple time frames of the MACD histo?

that doesn't seem fair. i have yet to see b1s2 claim a trade that he hasn't explicitly posted. in my opinion his comment showed his intent was to look for shorts. in the past he has made similar comments and later he either called a trade in real time or stated that he missed the move.

do IB and TS have streaming time & sales for the ES? as far as i can tell thinkorswim does not. btw, tos shows 62.50 printed as well.

i tend to settle down and trade more mechanically in the afternoon. it irks me to see how i trade in the chop. the signals i watch require patience and i'm developing that, but slowly. By tgdontap at 2008-06-12

i've never been good at keeping any type of journal... here's where i am. i'll update with charts at a later juncture. it's been a tough but good week to get me back on track.

that makes plenty of sense. trickle-down should apply to determine the degree of strength for any directional indication. thanks, good trading to you.

i'm not particularly well-versed in reading the histo/rsi/stochs for divergence. am i seeing the makings of a bearish divergence correctly on the 5 and 15 min? edit: just paper trading, but i got scared out of a long off the 15 earlier and i don't trust it enough to jump back in. looking...

may i add that it would be a great idea to paper trade for a while before jumping in full steam ahead? if the action seems too fast then you're not ready to trade live. getting stopped out then watching it move in your direction is typical. i lost enough that way to rethink my strategies...

6/5: 4 round trips +159.50 post commission trade (2.) was the right trade and i should have just let it ride. stop was set at 1401 but i bailed early because i thought the 2 min chart indicated the signal reversed. i recognized quickly that was incorrect and went flat so i could regroup...

took a short off the 2 min that was questionable and got hit for 2 points. got a head fake long signal so reversed my position before checking for confirmation and got hit for another half point. my fault. a similar short setup to that first one i took just occurred on the 5 min but i...

yep, commissions are "charged," but i don't think i can adjust them in the thinkorswim platform. i'll have to look though my trades to get an idea of how often i get unrealistic fills. generally the fills are within the realm of legitimacy, but i'm skeptical when i get filled on the outside...

after reviewing today's chart i see my entries were generally good, but my exit execution is poor. was scared out of a few trades that ultimately moved the way the charts said they would. would have traded a lot less and made a lot more had i not gone soft. overall a good day profit-wise, but...

is a h&s pattern legit on an intraday time frame?

hello again. none of the aforementioned issues to be addressed has been addressed. i started haphazardly trading again yesterday as we're finally situated in a new apartment. moving is a big hassle and crazy expensive so next time i hope i can pay someone else to do it for me. by next week i...
