Since I do trade for a living last year I paid 20k a year in health premiums for a shitty plan (high deductible, high copay) that doesn't even cover all health issues. There are lots of coverage requirements that exist for employer based plans that just don't exist for individual plans...

It doesn't sound like market making to me. It sounds like straight up gambling. Maybe this is why IBKR is one of the worst performing stocks for 5 years in a row.

That was one of the best articles I've read, I can't wait for the book to come out. Scalping aka market making is low variance trading. The only other alternative is directional betting which is very high variance. The brain can handle low variance trading a lot better than high variance...

We're in the 11th year of a secular bear market that began in 2000 and we are not even at fair value yet. Keep in mind that we have spent over a decade below fair value many times before. Fair value =16 level on the PE10 Ratio
