Who has 5 second bar charts and better comms, for ES than IB?

Hi All,

I want move from IB to another platform with better execution and or commissions. This is for ES only. (I will keep IB as a backup and for other trading strategies).

Lightspeed via Lightspeed Trader, and eFutures both have 1 minute charts as the smallest.
Other Lightspeed platforms? I am leaning towards a lightspeed solution rather AMP.

AMP and Multi charts seems to.

How about AMP and MT5 or Sierra Charts? Others?

Don't want TradeStation or NinjaTrader because I don't see any significant advantage over IB. Also I don't mind that IB is a consolidated 250ms snapshot of tick action and top of que market depth is fine.

What do you mean by better execution and commission than IB (for trading ES)?

Seems to me like IB is one of the best in regards to these 2 characteristics for trading ES.

Not sure what you mean by significant advantage over IB.

I'm very happy with both Ninjatrader the software and Ninjatrader the brokerage (Dorman), although I've had some annoyances with regards to the software and their support/development.

I do like owning the software versus subscriptions. Old school I guess. Who would you recommend to use Multicharts with as the broker? This is for trading ES only and somewhere between 50 and 100 round trips per day with a 2-6 contract orders.

I have just started with amp and the customer service has been at least responsive, they are not huge like one might think. there a small tight group and they will respond to you pretty quickly, bare bones commission rates and fees are very attractive. Plus I have never seen a easier, more willing to work with group when it comes to trying out various combinations for data vendors and trading platforms for demo.

Advantage would be lower commissions and better execution. The latter is more complex to evaluate. Don't get me wrong, I like and use IB for over 25+ years I think. I was using Pacific brokerage before they were bought by IB back in the 90s.

In general, my needs are pretty simple, by design, beside high resolution bars (5 second bars). I am probably not going to automate-API integrate, except to build a ML assistance tool that replaces a portion of the system. But that is a 2021-22 project.

MB, I will look at AMP again.
