I remember when i had them, my hens loved those jap beetles pests , shiny green LOL.
OUr midsouth area is forecasted a double pague of those cicadas, mid May. They dont eat much\ but sound like a jet engine + make a royal mess on sidewalks.
They like to chew on bark + scar up a fruit tree, dont hurt it much like the locusts in the Bible-plague. The birds may consider those manna from heaven.
WEF may love them also LOL but that's them LOL, i delegate my bug eating to birds.
