A noble gesture, can't fault a young person for trying. Sadly, a global methane "doom loop" is already in motion—nothing to be done about it anymore. Now we must learn to adapt to a difficult future.

I believe that most folks would not have been able to afford fossil fuel energy if a full accounting of burning it had been done. The laws of thermodynamics are pretty clear and cannot be broken.

Entropy. You can't win. You can't break even. You can't even quit the game.
