The guy was in Washington for years and they did nothing. They are winning in the playoffs without him. I thought he was supposed to be so great.
Rather than give Harper $300 million they used that money to acquire 4 to 5 players who are contributing in a big way. So it is not Harper was not great, his numbers were great, but now the team could add more pieces for less money including a great pitcher and depth.
