What kind of luxuries you want?

I'd like a few billions to buy a seat at table of the people ruling the world. To change things.

As a luxury treat, a few millions would do here, I would probably build an high tech analogic music studio with all sorts of musical instruments, and the craziest stuff an audiophile can buy for the house (Lanny Kravitz brasilian ranch style).
Be as self sustainable as possible, off the grid as much as possible, using renewable, natural resources and planting my own food.

I agree. All the footage I've seen has been gorgeous, it's unfortunate politics muddies the water like this.
