its a set of patterns and rules that work most of the time (probably 80-90%) and the method based on them should be scalable and universal
I've seen a bit of work on cycles (and what not) that is truly remarkable stuff...It's very hard to google and get the actual specifics of how these guys do their calculations and routinely nail highs/lows, but it's probably the most impressive stuff I've seen.
