What is the best deal out there??

???? strapped for cash....they were just bought out. I would bet they are adding traders at a faster clip than any other place right now.

I think the bottom line is Andover is doing well and adding traders from other firms because 1. they are the low cost outfit right now, because they self clear and 2. The hammer is simply a better trading platform that most others right now. (If you combine it with realtick charts it IS the best IMO.)

With regard to the software I have yet to see a post by anyone who thinks it isn't the best they have traded on.

Anyone?
Truthfully, i have been hearing the same thing....so if they are doing so well, why can't they plunk down some money instead of doing this crap where they PM you to see if you want a "deal"? And even if it's just a rogue office or two, image is everything so they should make thee guys cut it out.

just a guess, but with all these PMs and posts, it's probable that andover traders get some sort of referral fee, or commission cut, for recruiting people from other firms. it's not andover management on here recruiting people.

That is my guess.

Nope, it is better for most of them to stay ignorant on the matter. That way they keep plausible deniability. Why would they (management) want to do anything to keep the new money from coming in, as long the shady recruiting practices cannot be pinned on them?

In regard to the previous post is putting more money into
traders pockets and cutting owners margins a "shady" thing to
do? I agree I wouldn't post prices etc. but both traders and
owners should reap fair profits. The key word is fair. Traders
should be rewarded for their risk and labor.
