What is Patentable in Trading?

My inverted ford pinto indicator is patented. Guarenteed to pick tops and bottoms in any market, any time frame. Why I made a fortune going long tiger shrimp this year from the absolute bottom. It is now patent protected and for sale at a website near you....

(Not sure where I got this, but I believe intellectual property that doesn't result in a physical device is often copyrighted rather than patented.)
