This some evangelical bullshit. Those evangelicals are absolutely off their rocker on almost everything.
The Memento Mori was utilized by early christians for the obvious reason of meditating on the impermanence of life and the inevitability of death. Viewed that way Halloween could simply be a Memento Mori. It's a consistent theme in Christian art and literature. More realistically it's just kids having fun. But don't let that stop 18th century false religions from sucking the fun out of everything.
Evangelicals are false prophets. They believe in the prediction of the end times which the bible strictly says mortals can't know. It's a religion designed to steal money from the ignorant and that's why every televangelist identifies as evangelical. If someone who is evangelical attempts to explain anything related to Christianity run as fast as you can.

Atheistic? The article concluded by saying
The implication that if candy giving and dressing up as ghouls is some sort of sin. Did you read the article? The conclusion, cited above, is "you're going to hell if you celebrate halloween". "or shed light upon the what lies below" implying Halloween is anything but a gift giving holiday adopted by the catholics, and therefore every sect of Christianity, at some point from the pagans. If there is a benevolent God, he is surely not the one the writer follows. If you had any idea of Christianity you'd recognize a false prophet immediately - such as this one.

It does not take a PhD in theology to see what the author's implication is. No fun for anyone unless it's worshipping the particular version of God we believe in! Yes, the rallying cry of every 18th and 19th century neo-protestant movement. Obviously heavily influenced by the puritans.
Something tells me Christ wouldn't tell children dressed in ghoul attire that they're going to hell. Apparently Christianity has forgotten who Christ was.

Right and Wrong. Cant know the exact time. But the prediction is similar to when you see all the elements of a storm brewing in the west and heading your direction - also a verse about it, look it up if you want.

My observation has been when the subject is turned more explicitly toward the "devil" and when the devil is given a name "Satan", run like hell. Its hard to tell where the psychological mailstrom will touch down.
Halloween, as it is commonly celebrated, pokes fun at the status quo. Its a parody of the human condition. In the best scenario, it takes death a little less seriously. The parody is probably not conscious, meaning, people are probably not aware they are a mask over the face of Reality/Christ, hiding Christ, and making a mockery in its representation (misrepresentation) of Christ. But what is certainly obvious is how all peoples, young and old, love to wear masks/costumes to present themselves as something they are not. All people, especially Judeo-Christiasms, wear masks all year round. This one night our mask wearing fetishes are exposed and semi-ridiculed. This is more or less appreciated, and less so by those who wont break (year-round) character, not even for a minute, unwilling to admit that every human face is a death mask over the face of Christ.
