Heya Peeps,
(Putting this in "Programming" because its the closest thing to a tech forum on ET)
- I have a Skype interview coming up, and I need a new Webcam.
- I'm on a Mac/OSX.
- I'm not so concerned about price, because webcams top out at about $100, and it is for an interview...
I'm more concerned with compatibility issues, or buying the wrong thing for its intended use. For example, does a wide-screen webcam help or hurt on Skype? It will take in more of the background.
Here's my short list:
At $94.49, we have this best-seller, and streams 1080p at 60fps. Is that a bit overkill for Skype?
At $62.64, another reasonable option:
At $30, There's the "iCubie," which seems to have that I'm-made-by-Apple-and-I'm-cute look about it:
http://www.ecamm.com/mac/icubie/
At $19.99, this one is highly rated at 720p:
Any recommendations? Thx!
Sincerely,
Keith :^)
