The fact you do not reveal the name of the broker says a lot about your personality.Nope they are definitely a broker.
You quoted my post but it seems like you didn't read half of it. If they refund others and not you it is because they don't perceive value in doing so. Maybe you don't generate a lot of commish or you don't give the impression that you are willing to leave for greener pastures. Actually I'm getting at impression from you now. If the platform has so many issues then just switch to a different broker already.
it's the psychological aspect that's bothering me , i know they have no obligation to provide refunds so why the heck are the they providing it to some individuals
i appreciate the answer brother. But the thing is currently they are one of the best brokers in the country and they are willing to refund aswell but only a partial amount. The thing is i can still trade on the platform and I'm pretty sure these bugs will be fixed with updates but as I said i am confused whether i should completely ignore the lag and glitches or should I complain about them? i cant be inbetween , its either A or B. Practically it's a better option to just ignore and think of it as a part of business but i just don't know how should I do that.@cruisecontrol answered your question: it's a business decision. For whatever reasons (and we can easily speculate) it's worth it to them in some cases and not in others.
Is it fair? No, but many things in life aren't fair. You feel like complaining? I get it. I might too. After you get it off your chest, though, go make a productive decision and leave this in the past.
What should you do? Up to you, really, but as others have suggested, I would go find a better broker. Cut your losses (of time mostly) and move on.
Different businesses are geared to serving different segments of the population in different ways.... (Some split their clientele into groups and are happy to 'rip off' those where they feel they can get away with it and keep the other clients happy.) This broker just might not be for you.
I think you're having trouble letting go. You want so much for it to be fair:
That's tough because in trading there's A LOT that needs to be let go so you can focus on performing your best in the present.
My advice is to let go of this broker and let go of the unfairness of it. Try to just move on. Life isn't fair.
